Dedicated to our favourite restaurants in and around Banbury and Chipping Norton area.
The Straw Kitchen
Whichford Pottery, Whichford, CV36 5PG
Whichford’s best-kept secret is out but even though awareness is growing we still think it’s worth plugging this highly original and quirky eatery next to the world-famous pottery.
Coffee – We love a good coffee but so many places do it badly….not here!
Super Brunch – if you need a bit of comfort food.
Specials board – Keep your eye on the specials. Every week there’s always something new, interesting and tasty with meat or veggie options.
The Tea Set
24 High Street, Chipping Norton, OX7 5AD
In the heart of Chipping Norton is an unassuming tea shop serving the best afternoon teas in an informal setting.
Brie and Bacon – Lots of Bacon, lots of cheese and just the right amount of cranberry sauce they’re not stingy folks.
Afternoon Tea – Great sandwiches, lovely cakes, the best scones, proper clotted cream and a great selection of teas all at reasonable prices.
Daylesford, Kingham, Gloucestershire, GL56 0YG
High quality produce with equally high prices
Salads – All the salads are amazing but we love the one with the peanut satay dressing
Beatroot Soughdough – If you love your bread this is a very tasty alternative to regular soughdough.
